Tyson & Jillian's Walnut Beach Resort Wedding

First off I have to say how extremely grateful, excited and amazed I was to be able to photograph these two on their special day. Our relationship started through our nursing careers and immediately I think our personalities meshed well. Jill is extremely friendly, bubbly and beautiful on the inside and the out and Tyson, well he is her match in every way. Our journey started out with a September engagement session at Knox Mountain in Kelowna. We were almost blown away with smoke by the rampant forest fires in the area at the time. Luckily, by some miracle the smoke lifted and we were able to capture those stunning lakeview shots this couple was after. Fast forward to June of this year, I was delighted to photograph these two on their wedding day. The day started with a first look and wedding photos at the beautiful Nk'Mip Cellars. The views here were breathtaking but so was the couple! The wedding ceremony and reception followed at Walnut Beach Resort and the day was filled with so much love, happiness and cheer. I think these images are my best captures to date and I am so pleased to be able to share them with you. Also I wish the absolute best for these two as they start their journey as husband and wife. I feel that it is so important to build relationships with the people you photograph and I am honoured to call Jillian and Tyson friends.
